Cinnamon Toast
3-6 servings
- 1/4 cup light brown or white granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- whole wheat bread
- butter
Mix together the sugar and cinnamon; set aside. Toast your bread; butter it and sprinkle with the blended sugar & cinnamon. Place the toast under your broiler for a minute to melt the sugar. Serve hot.
Note: This recipe depends on the size of bread slices you use. Being single, I keep the mixture onhand in a spice sprinkle jar and use smaller size slices (like Weight Watchers whole wheat bread).
