Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 2-3 dozen
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup Fleischmans margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 300°.
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Set aside.
In large bowl with mixer at low speed beat together margarine, peanut butter, eggs, water, and vanilla just until blended.
Add flour mixture, beat until blended. Increase speed to medium; beat 2 minutes. Add chocolate pieces into batter and blend at low speed just until combined. Don't overmix.
Drop by Tablespoonful onto ungreased baking sheets (I use 2 sheets so as one comes out of the oven, I pop in the other). Bake in oven for 20 to 22 minutes. Immediately transfer cookies with a
spatula to wire racks to cool completely.
HINT: Always use Air-Insulated pans for perfect cookies every time.
