Beans and Onions Fryd

8 servings

  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, and
       some vegetable broth
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 3 16 oz. cans red kidney beans, drained

Fry onions in oil. Add garlic and seasonings. Stir in beans and mix thoroughly. Heat well before serving.
